We are into February of 2024 and the Choir has been busy preparing for our Winter Concert under the direction of guest conductor Adam Witte. Adam has put together a concert to explore the soul's journey from darkness to light.
Selections include Donatas Zakaras "The rain has held back" describing a thrust for grace so great that even a violent storm would be a comfort.
We strive to become more with Elaine Hagenberg "Measure Me, Sky!" With text of a poem by Leonora Speyer, striving to become more than we thought we could be.
To Aaron Copland "The Promise of Living," where we celebrate the work we accomplish and the joy and love we share with our community.
These and other pieces will be part of our Winter Concert on Sunday, March 10th at 2:00pm. We look forward to seeing you at Countryside Community Church.
