Giving Tuesday With OSC

The mission of OSC: To enrich the community with diverse experiences in live choral performances.

The vision of OSC: To be valued through patronage and collaboration and recognized as a premier choir in the greater Omaha community.

The Omaha Symphonic Chorus is a group that loves to come together and sing choral music. Why else would be give up one Tuesday a week for almost 8 months a year if it was something we didn't feel passionate about. People join for many reasons, from the excitement of a performance, to spending time in community with others, to just a plain love of singing.

In meeting its mission OSC presents 4 concerts a year, the highlight being Christmas at the Cathedral with the Omaha Symphony. In striving to meet our vision, over the years we have presented concerts with various local high schools, Bellevue West with last year's Illuminare concert being the most recent, colleges and children's choirs. We also worked with Together in promoting and supporting their work in helping the homeless and hungry in Omaha.

The board of directors for OSC, is made up of volunteers from the choir and works hard to make sure funds from member dues and ticket sales are spent appropriately and efficiently for the operation of OSC. We also strive to set affordable ticket prices to allow as many people as possible to be able to attend our concerts.

But, in order to keep ticket prices low, we need a bit of extra help. If you are blessed

with a little extra this year, please think about helping us with a donation by clicking the button below. Thank you for supporing Omaha Symphonic Chorus!
