Join us for a musical exploration of American music in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. From Steven Foster to Hoagy Carmichael, spirituals to gospel, Yankee Doodle to Swingin’ with the Saints, this family friendly program will sample the American popular songbook. The concert will feature the Street Railway Company Jazz Band and its foot-stomping Dixieland sound.

The Omaha Symphonic Chorus at St. Cecilia's Cathedral

From the heart of middle America, the Omaha Symphonic Chorus has excelled in performing various forms of choral music for nearly 60 years. With the mission of enriching the community with the highest quality of choral music, the choir's 100 volunteer singers present 3 to 5 concerts a year in different venues around the area. The chorus frequently collaborates with the Omaha Symphony, the United States Air Force Heartland of America Band and other talented local music groups.
