The Omaha Symphonic Chorus depends on the generous donations of individuals, corporations and foundations to bring the joy of live choral music to the Omaha community. By contributing to OSC, you are supporting a versatile group, which over the years has offered concerts ranging from the classics of Beethoven and Bach, to presentations of new works by contemporary composers, to family concerts like our "American Music Celebration".

The Chorus is an ensemble of 100 voices, selected each year by audition. Our singers come from all walks of life and dedicate countless hours preparing for our concerts. Our volunteer board of directors also devotes enormous time and energy to the production and management of a concert season. Even with this exceptional level of volunteer commitment, ticket sales cover only a fraction of our expenses.

Since 1997, OSC has enjoyed frequent collaborations with the Omaha Symphony. The Chorus is thrilled to have the opportunity to perform at the Orpheum with this fine orchestra. It is important to note, however, that OSC is an autonomous organization and is not supported financially by the Symphony.

As a non-profit arts organization, we need the generous assistance of donors like you to continue our activities. The costs of managing and promoting a concert season and of hiring the instrumental musicians who accompany us are significant. Please consider making a tax deductible contribution. Gifts of any size are welcome and will be acknowledged in our concert programs.

How to Make your Contribution:

Matching Gifts: Does your company have a matching gift program? You can double or triple the impact of your support by taking advantage of your company's matching gift program.

Memorials and Honorary Gifts: Your gift to the Omaha Symphonic Chorus can be made in memory of a loved one or in recognition of an individual who has made a difference in your life.

Concert Sponsorships: Major contributions, by individuals or corporations, to underwrite a particular concert are a special way to support the chorus. You or your company will be recognized at the concert. Complimentary tickets and other benefits are available at this level of giving. Sponsorships begin at $1,000.00.
